The Kontakt.io Nano Tag is a disposable BLE 5.0 patient tracking tag designed for single-patient or short-stay use. At a fraction of the cost of reusable tags, it broadcasts at 1 Hz for up to 30 days — sufficient for the entire length of most inpatient episodes — before being recycled.

Its biodegradable housing aligns with hospital sustainability goals, and its pre-paired QR-code provisioning allows nursing staff to assign a new tag to a patient in seconds. Ideal for emergency departments, day surgery, and high-throughput wards where reusable tag logistics are impractical.
