The Beam Mini 2 is a compact, battery-powered IR beacon for rooms and corridors where a wired installation is impractical. It broadcasts an IR zone signal to all compatible Kontakt.io tags within range, enabling room-level RTLS without PoE cabling, junction boxes, or electricians.

Installation takes approximately 6 minutes — mount to any ceiling or wall surface with the supplied adhesive bracket, insert four AA batteries, and configure via Kio Cloud. The Beam Mini 2 is ideal for retrofitting RTLS capability into existing facilities where infrastructure works are cost-prohibitive.
